What is a medical second opinion?
It is a review by another qualified doctor of your existing diagnosis, medical records or treatment plan. The doctor may confirm the current approach, discuss alternatives or identify a need for further assessment.
Do I need to travel to China?
An initial enquiry is remote. Some requests can be reviewed using existing records; the reviewing doctor decides whether a remote opinion is suitable. If a visit or additional tests are needed, we tell you before confirming the service.
Can I choose a particular doctor?
You can share a preference. We check relevant expertise and availability, discuss suitable specialist options with you and confirm the accepted review before payment.
How much will it cost, and how long will it take?
Both depend on the specialty, specialist, records and language support. You receive a written quote and expected timing after the initial suitability check. No payment is required to submit this enquiry.
What should I send first?
Start with your email address and the area of care. Please do not submit medical records, passport details or scans through this initial form. We first explain the records-handling arrangements.
Will a second opinion change my treatment?
It may support the current plan, raise questions or identify a need for further assessment. The result is not guaranteed. Treatment decisions remain with you and your qualified treating professionals.
